What They're Looking For.
Must Have
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, Deep technical expertise in ASC 606, Deep technical expertise in ASC 326 (CECL), Experience owning or managing billing operations, AR, and collections functions, Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM and its integration with NetSuite, Proven ability to manage and develop a team, Advanced Excel skills
Nice to Have
Big 4 background preferred, CPA strongly preferred, Experience in SaaS or start-up company environments, Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP, Ability to configure and maintain revenue arrangements and recognition rules within the ERP, Exposure to accounting for revenue with customers in foreign currencies, Experience supporting system implementations

Own revenue accounting
Serve as technical resource on revenue
Maintain SSP analyses
Draft technical memos
Advise on revenue recognition
Operationalize revenue recognition
Oversee billing process
Ensure timely invoice
Manage Salesforce-to-NetSuite data flow
Enforce billing controls
Manage collections function
Own CECL reserve analysis
Own monthly revenue close
Support MoM variance analysis
Manage external auditor relationships
Serve as functional owner of NetSuite
Maintain revenue arrangements
Maintain recognition rules
Lead automation initiatives
Redesign revenue workflows
Manage revenue accounting team
Build culture of accountability
Invest in professional development
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Communicate clearly across Finance, Sales, Legal; Partner with Legal, Sales, and FP; Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success; Coordinate with the Controller; Manage external auditor relationships; Present complex revenue positions to auditors, legal, and senior leadership
