## Description Director of Quality Location: Columbus, OH Job Type: Direct Hire Salary: Starting at $100,000+ (Based on Experience) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality to lead quality strategy, systems, and performance across a growing manufacturing operation. This leadership role is responsible for driving quality excellence, continuous improvement, compliance, and operational performance while ensuring products and processes consistently meet customer expectations and industry standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on quality leader with a strong background in manufacturing environments and proven success implementing quality systems, reducing defects, and building high-performing teams. Work Environment: Approximately 70% office-based and 30% manufacturing floor engagement. ## Key Responsibilities Quality Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute the organization's quality vision, strategy, and long-term objectives. Establish quality goals aligned with business objectives and customer expectations. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Partner with executive leadership, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to drive quality initiatives. Quality Systems & Compliance Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and applicable regulatory requirements. Oversee internal and external audits, corrective actions, document control, and quality documentation processes. Develop and standardize quality procedures across manufacturing operations. Manufacturing Quality Establish quality standards and process controls throughout production operations. Drive reductions in defects, rework, scrap, and customer complaints. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
