What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Honours Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science, or MEAL, or related fields, Minimum of 10 years’ experience in data-related roles, 5 years at a senior level with demonstrated experience in leading and implementing enterprise data management interventions, Experience working in data management, Comfort working with impact metrics, Experience with building a data-driven culture, Experience working with remote or hybrid teams across multiple countries, Proficiency in data analysis, Proficiency in data cleaning, Proficiency in data quality frameworks, Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, Ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team, Ability to work and collaborate effectively in multicultural environments and teams, Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, Organizational skills, Superior attention to detail, High level of adaptability/flexibility
Nice to Have
Master's Degree qualification preferred, Experience working in the non-profit or social sector is an advantage
What You'll Do.
Oversee MEAL frameworks
and measurement plans
Own and continually refine Imagine’s Theory of Change
and learning strategies are aligned
Develop and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) definitions
Maintain an up-to-date repository of program metrics
Ensure that program data is trusted
Ensure program dashboards
and data platforms are
Ensure alignment of all data sources with master
Establish robust data governance and quality assurance protocols
Collaborate to ensure interoperability and a unified data
Lead the development of dashboards
and refine hypotheses related to the
Challenge assumptions
using insights gained to drive program
Formulate and pursue high-value programmatic questions
Oversee statistical analysis
and experimental design
Co-create data analysis plans for new initiatives
Translate insights into clear narratives
Synthesize insights for country teams
Senior Leadership Team
Translate evidence into decisions that strengthen strategy
Produce high-quality reports with accurate
compelling impact metrics
Contribute to global knowledge on what works for
Partner with Communications to ensure external messaging is
Collaborate with Research and Technology on tool selection
Participate in cross-organizational initiatives
