What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of experience in project delivery, product management, or software engineering, with a significant focus on eCommerce, Deep expertise with Shopify Plus and its ecosystem, including custom development, integrations, and migrations, Proven success delivering complex, enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions on time and within budget, Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, balancing technical and business priorities, Experience managing, mentoring, and scaling diverse teams across technical and non-technical functions, Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming delivery challenges, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders, Experience engaging with enterprise clients, providing strategic insights, and managing escalations effectively, Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, eCommerce platforms, and technical architecture, Experience with ERP, OMS, CMS, and third-party solution integrations (e. g. , Netsuite, Sanity, Manhattan), familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools (e. g. , Jira, Confluence)
Nice to Have
Shopify certifications or equivalent expertise, Experience transitioning from platforms like Magento, Salesforce, or BigCommerce to Shopify, Background in enterprise project portfolio management, overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets
