Full Job Description

The **Director of Business Development** is responsible for analyzing selected markets. This position will plan and execute marketing and public relations efforts in the hospital development phase to ensure name branding in the selected markets. This position must integrate company values into daily practice. **Essential Functions** _Minimum Job Requirements_ * Conducts research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, customer demographics, and new technologies. * Works with marketing and development team to implement business development initiatives and refines integrated strategic marketing based upon data, trends and marketing needs. * Tracks and records metrics, data, and statistics on company performance, connections, client retention, customer retention and finances. * Assists with creating, updating, and maintaining tools pertaining to bed need templates, mapping software, forms, and other pertinent information. * Assists with Certificate of Need requirements, including researching state regulations, obtaining applications, compiling data, and writing components. * Identifies potential partnerships and growth opportunities within the region through direct or indirect contact. * Research insurance carriers within the market for potential contracts. * Complies with appropriate and approved safety standards. * Completes required trainings, as assigned. * Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization. _Minimum Education & Experience _ * Bachelor’s degree preferred. * 4 years’ marketing and/or development experience in healthcare required. Post-acute experience preferred. _Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation_ *
