Must Have

Bachelor's degree in education, Active professional teacher certification, Minimum of five years' experience as a successful teacher, Knowledge of State Standards, Knowledge of Common Core Standards, Experience using multiple sources of data collection, Written and verbal communication skills, Computer literacy and proficiency, Attention to detail, Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks

Nice to Have

Master's degree preferred, Two years' experience as an Instructional Coach, Two years' experience as Teacher Leader, Experience in an urban setting, Experience in a school turnaround setting

What You'll Do.

Assume ownership and responsibility for developing instructional staff

Assume ownership and responsibility for supporting instructional staff

Guide teachers in effective use of instructional materials

Guide teachers in effective use of support materials

Guide teachers in full implementation of curriculum

Guide teachers in adapting materials

Guide teachers in adapting methods

Guide teachers in using differentiation strategies

Review lesson plans weekly

Perform frequent teacher observations

Perform frequent teacher debriefs

Model effective instructional practices

Model delivery of instruction

Model effective teaching strategies

Provide effective feedback to teachers

Provide professional development to teachers

Provide coaching for teachers

Offer continuous professional development

Offer targeted professional development

Ensure continuous student achievement

Analyze barriers to student achievement

Identify barriers to student achievement

Apply to instructional improvement

Monitor use of student achievement data

Inform instruction using data

Provide support for intervention programs

Monitor program effectiveness

Work cooperatively with parents

Generate parents' confidence in teacher

Generate parents' confidence in instructional program

Coordinate special projects

Perform other duties as assigned
