Purpose of Position The Director, Multilingual Learners (MLL) ensures that EdReports’ reviews consistently and rigorously evaluate how instructional materials support multilingual learners in accessing grade-level, college- and career-ready content. This role oversees the MLL review workstream across content areas while embedding and calibrating an MLL lens within all K–12 content reviews. As a strategic and collaborative leader, the Director builds systems that ensure coherence between MLL and core content reviews, creates and strengthens review tools in partnership with the Product (RDI) team, and advances EdReports’ equity-forward approach to curriculum evaluation. The Director manages MLL Leads and consultants, oversees related budgets and grant-aligned workstreams, and represents EdReports nationally through field engagement, publisher engagement, and thought leadership. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, product, and field influence—owning the vision, systems, and external positioning of multilingual learner evaluation at EdReports.
