What They're Looking For.

Must Have

15+ years of retail/wholesale merchandising experience, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Demonstrate a point of view about product assortment and business opportunities, Ability to problem solve independently, with ability to adapt to diverse audiences and environments, communication and relationship/team skills, computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint) with aptitude for learning new programs

Nice to Have

5 years of management experience preferred

What You'll Do.

Own and oversee the merchandise strategies for the Gap China business

Drive seasonal product strategies to meet market specific needs

Deliver annual financial goals

Drive the execution of Franchise Market

Own Franchise needs in brand milestone meetings

Deliver brand key concepts

and assortments across multiple formats

Manage and execute regional assortment strategies

Manage the development of local Franchise exclusives

Analyze the business to deliver product recaps

and seasonal hind-sights

Partner directly with Gap Franchise Merchandising and Design to influence and protect the product architecture and assortment of Gap China with franchise partner

Actively participate as the voice of Franchise in milestone meetings to ensure critical paths and calendars are met

Manage and own all documents and shared tools related to the China market and local sourcing assortment

Own planning and execution of Franchise market week experience for China to offer a compelling market experience

Develop long term strategies to drive growth by analyzing sales performance of businesses

by category and across global vs locally sourced regional product to meet customer needs and maximize sales
