What They're Looking For.

Must Have

15+ years in internal, corporate, and/or executive communications with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience, Proven experience interacting with C-suite leaders, Experience leading communications through large-scale transformation in complex, global organizations, Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, executive presence and ability to influence at the highest levels, Operational rigor across channels, content, and large-scale events, A modern approach to engagement, channels, and employee experience

Nice to Have

Experience in technology or SaaS environments preferred

What You'll Do.

Lead company-wide communications

Drive internal communications strategy and execution across major initiatives (annual priorities

operating model shifts)

Shape the narrative by translating Okta’s strategy into clear

repeatable cadence for communications

Oversee internal channels and ensure precision in audience targeting and reach

Lead Company All Hands and executive forums

multi-channel strategies that foster dialogue

Lead in critical moments by partnering with Corporate Communications on crisis

and high-stakes communications

Ensure internal-first alignment to eliminate disconnects between internal and external messaging

Ensure a small number of critical messages are consistently reinforced across channels and leaders

Lead and grow a high-performing communications team spanning internal content

Partner closely with various different business functions including People

and executive staff teams

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Partner with the People team to drive internal communications strategy and execution; Partner with Corporate Communications on crisis, issues, and high-stakes communications; Partner closely with various different business functions including People, GTM, Legal, Security, Product, and executive staff teams
