Deep understanding of finance processes including Financial Reporting, and Valuation Control, Extensive knowledge of how the function integrates with the business division / Group to achieve the overall business objectives, Broad and comprehensive knowledge of industry theories and practices within own discipline alongside up-to-date relevant sector / functional knowledge, and insight into external market developments / initiatives

What You'll Do.
Lead effective and efficient audit teams to achieve results in delivery
determining and delivering against agreed metrics including budget
Provide effective assurance with insightful audit results
Support the Portfolio Manager to define and execute the appropriate coverage strategy and audit plan for the Finance Function
Lead discussions with business management regarding audit observations and issues
Consult with relevant BIA MDs/Directors where applicable
Manage stakeholder relationships with the Bank’s Finance team globally
Attend Committees and forums within the Finance space
Produce concise and insightful commentary for reporting to the Board and Regulators
Share industry knowledge including the key regulatory requirements and emerging developments
and make links between regulatory landscape
Support delivery of BIA Strategy and its pillars
Contribute to and influence policy and procedures for the function
manage and consult on multiple complex and critical strategic projects
which may be business wide

# **Job Description** **Accountabilities** * Lead effective and efficient audit teams to achieve results in delivery, determining and delivering against agreed metrics including budget, delivery, and objectives. This includes leading audit teams to provide effective assurance with insightful audit results. * Have deep understanding of finance processes including Financial Reporting, and Valuation Control. * Support the Portfolio Manager to define and execute the appropriate coverage strategy and audit plan for the Finance Function. * Lead discussions with business management regarding audit observations and issues, consult with relevant BIA MDs/Directors where applicable. * Responsible for managing stakeholder relationships with the Bank’s Finance team globally.
