What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, 4–5+ years of experience in fund accounting or back-office operations within a fund administrator, hedge fund, or investment advisor, 3+ years of experience managing or supervising teams, knowledge of U. S. GAAP, Experience with financial instruments including equities, fixed income, FX, futures, options, repos, and mortgages, Solid understanding of corporate actions, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities, Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification, Experience with Geneva, Total Return, or other fund accounting platforms, client-facing experience with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders, Experience leading large or complex client relationships, Proven ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
What You'll Do.
Lead and coordinate work plans for client service accounting teams
Manage workflow and deliverables
Review fund accounting deliverables including NAVs
and investor allocations
Manage and strengthen client relationships
Oversee new client onboarding
Resolve complex accounting issues escalated by the team
Coordinate and manage the external audit process
Review financial statements
