What They're Looking For.

Must Have

10+ years of experience in U.S. government affairs, public policy, or regulatory affairs, experience engaging on complex legislative and regulatory issues, Significant experience within or closely aligned to the U.S. federal government, Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at senior levels, briefing C-suite executives, engaging with policymakers and staff, understanding of the U.S. legislative and regulatory landscape, experience in financial services, markets, and prudential regulation, Demonstrated excellence in policy writing, analysis, and executive communication, Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and external stakeholders, High ethical standards, full compliance with lobbying and disclosure regulations

Nice to Have

advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA, or public policy, economics, or related field), Experience supporting the development of comment letters, coordinating positions through trade associations

What You'll Do.

Lead day-to-day engagement with policymakers

Contribute to advocacy strategy development

Serve as senior relationship manager

Represent interests in meetings

Monitor and analyze policy developments

Coordinate positions with peer institutions

Assess implications of U.S. policy

Support development of policy positions

Track activity across key agencies

Serve as trusted resource to senior executives

Partner with business lines

Coordinate internal stakeholders

Identify and elevate risks

Develop briefings for executive engagements

Support internal communications

Partner with Corporate Communications

Coordinate with trade associations

Participate in industry working groups

Support stakeholder engagement efforts
