What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering (Mechanical/Production/ Industrial or other relevant discipline), Business or other related areas., 10+ year experience as a leader in Global Supply Chain role.
Nice to Have
Master’ Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering (Mechanical/Production/ Industrial or other relevant discipline), Business, or other related fields, APICS CPIM, SCM, or related certification, Lean / Six Sigma experience, certification, Project Management certification, 15+ year experience as a leader in Global Supply Chain role., Experience with SAP ERP system

Directing and managing the global Bill-of-Material (BOM) team.
Directing and managing the global packaging team.
Managing the global (GSC) program initiatives.
Meeting regulatory and other corporate compliance requirements.
Overseeing the Operational Excellence (OE) deliverables for the Responsiveness pillar.
Addressing and solving complex operational problems.
Developing and executing mid to long-term strategic goals.
Influencing others to adopt improved practices & methods.
and managing a dynamic team.
and providing regular feedback on employee growth.
Implementing improvement as needed.
Driving employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with Allison Policies.
Managing employee relations matters.
Leading a team of salaried employees with indirect oversight of a small hourly population in bill of material
and Global Supply Chain functional excellence.
Directing and managing Operational Excellence responsiveness with special focus on direct and indirect material movement (including scrap) and delivery within the plant.
Driving improvements to the operations teams and operations of the global supply chain.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex operational issues.
and overseeing continuous improvement and strategic initiatives within the global supply chain.
Directing the planning and execution of program launches.
Leading and mentoring a team of both direct
indirect reports and 3PL resources.
Influencing and communicating effectively with executive leadership.
Providing GSC guidance and support for other Allison Transmission operations.
Driving synergy projects with other Allison Off-highway plants/PDCs.
