Must Have

15+ years of extensive experience in fund accounting or financial services, at least 7 years in senior leadership and management roles, proven ability to drive regional strategy, operational transformation, and service excellence in a complex market or region, expertise in managing regional client portfolios and leading cross-border initiatives, experience managing teams across multiple countries, with a focus on talent development, skilled in setting and implementing business strategies, operational goals, and quality control frameworks, extensive knowledge of fund accounting practices, client servicing, and global market dynamics, experienced in leading large-scale transformation and change management initiatives, background in resource optimization, risk management, and regional compliance frameworks, experience in compensation planning and performance monitoring, leadership presence with expertise in talent management and fostering a high-performance culture, collaboration skills to navigate cross-functional and cross-regional relationships, proactive decision-making, problem-solving and analytical thinking

Nice to Have

advanced certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are highly desirable, A master’s degree, such as an MBA, is preferred, experience collaborating with stakeholders across global locations, including the UK, Continental Europe, and the USA, expertise in highly regulated jurisdictions within the global alternatives industry, such as Luxembourg, Jersey, and the Republic of Ireland, managed teams supporting end-to-end back-office fund processes, including (but not limited to) bookkeeping, NAV reconciliation at both fund and partner levels, statutory financial reporting, transfer agency, and regulatory reporting, visionary leader with a focus on driving growth and operational excellence across global teams, innovation-driven, with a focus on adopting new methodologies and technologies to enhance performance and service delivery, inspirational mentor and coach, committed to developing talent and advancing your team’s capabilities
