What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field., Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or CA), Minimum of 10+ years accounting and/or finance experience, minimum 5 years in a management role within Finance, North American travel will be required (up to 15%)
Nice to Have
Experience in Adaptive Planning, OpenAir, NetSuite, PowerBI a plus, Familiarity with AI-driven automation tools (e. g. , FloQast, BlackLine, or ERP AI integrations), North American travel will be required (up to 25%)
What You'll Do.
Direct oversight of accounting operations
and internal controls
Oversee the month end processes
reconciliations and internal reporting
Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
Oversee the Percentage of Completion method to recognize revenue based on work performed
Accountable for accurate and timely monthly/quarterly financial reporting to ensure compliance with internal and external reporting (in accordance with IFRS)
analyze and present the monthly financial performance to the Executive Team
Senior Management and Modaxo
Own the quarterly financial forecasting process (“QSR”)
guidance and coaching to direct reports
Lead financial analysis over any new product initiatives
Responsible for working with the business to assess market pricing
and sales approach for our products.
Monitor and input on key metrics of individual customer contracts
Monitor and enforce Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Provide corporate tax transfer pricing
and state revenue allocations
analyze and report the financial performance to the Leadership Team and the Modaxo Team
Become an expert in the company’s forecasting tool
and knowledgeable in the company’s other key tools such as OpenAir (PSA)
SalesForce (CRM) and Great Plains/NetSuite (ERP).
Work closely with all functional leads to ensure projects bids and contract terms
