Focuses of continuity of operations, emergency management, disaster response and emergency notifications for the health care system. Provides system constituents with pertinent information of current and potential risk exposures. Oversees all aspect of emergency management. Ensures compliance programs related to legislative, licensure and accreditation standards for the healthcare business. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION:** _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ * Bachelor's: Business, Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent education/experience **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:** * CHSP-Certified Healthcare Safety Professional **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** * 12 years recent relevant experience **PREFERREDEXPERIENCE:** * Experience in the management of emergency response programs for a large healthcare organization. * Experience in a comprehensive management role demonstrating leadership across all of the major functions of emergency management, security, technology, and interfacing with the business and clinical leaders. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** * Detailed knowledge of current state, federal, and professional standards for safety programs pertaining to healthcare facilities. * In-depth knowledge of the principles, practices, and functions of Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management and Loss Control Programs. * Comprehensive understanding of risk management and financing per insurance industry standards. * Superior business acumen and exceptional leadership skills to provide innovative solutions to complex problems and leveraging appropriate internal/external resources to meet corporate objectives . * Skills in building cross-functional team, fosteri
