Must Have
10+ years of progressive experience in group benefits, insurance, or financial services, including senior sales leadership roles, Demonstrated experience leading large scale sales organizations and delivering results within complex, multi layered environments, background in underwriting, finance, and sales operations, Excellent influencing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive new perspectives while modelling professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct, Exceptional leadership with the proven ability to build high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, resourcefulness, and continuous improvement, University degree required
Nice to Have
Deep expertise in the large group benefits market with extensive industry knowledge, Experience developing and executing regional sales strategies tied to measurable business outcomes, Demonstrated success collaborating across Product, Marketing, Underwriting, and enterprise partners, Completion of industry related designations such as CEBS
What You'll Do.
Strategic planning and overall management of the Toronto Corporate Accounts distribution team
Ownership of advisor and client relationships across the region
Deliver regional sales
persistency and profitability targets through the execution of annual and multi-year sales strategies
coach and develop Account Executives
Identify market opportunities and partner with Product and Marketing teams to support business development and product initiatives
Ensure effective sales structures
and expense management to meet or exceed performance targets
Strategically cultivate and expand new and existing advisor relationships to drive long term growth and competitive advantage
Partner closely with Underwriting and Head Office teams to deliver balanced results across growth
