Must Have

Master’s degree in Special Education, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Rehabilitation, or equivalent combination of education and experience., Ten (10) year's of related experience.

Nice to Have

Ten (10) years of progressively responsible providing services to individuals with disabilities, including related supervisory experience., Higher Education Experience., Experience with Universal Design for Learning., Experience with Assistive and accessible technology., Experience with Data-informed program assessment., Experience with Case management systems., Demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing programs or operations.

What You'll Do.

Provide strategic leadership to advance an academic accessible campus environment.

Lead institutional efforts to ensure access through innovative accommodations

and collaborative partnerships.

Ensure the provision of academic accommodations and related support for registered students.

Oversee all DSS operations

including service delivery

and resource management.

Serve as a key advisor on accessibility

and student success initiatives.

Develop and implement initiatives that enhance accessibility

promote student engagement

and align DSS goals with University and Division of Student Affairs missions.

Ensure institutional compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act

and determine student eligibility for academic accommodations.

Facilitate the implementation of accommodations and ensure access to academic programs and services.

and monitor multiple program budgets

and departmental resources.

Oversee daily office operations

ensuring alignment with university policies and student success goals.

Develop and implement short- and long-term goals

and measurable outcomes for services

and staff performance.
