Must Have
10+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or enterprise data management, 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or people management roles, Experience building and operating enterprise data platforms and large-scale data pipelines, understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management, Experience working in highly regulated industries such as banking or financial services, understanding of modern data architecture (cloud data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses), Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary technology teams and deliver large-scale initiatives, communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for senior leadership
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Databricks, Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica, Familiarity with data quality platforms such as Informatica IDQ/CDQ or similar, Experience building data products or domain-oriented data architectures, Experience leading distributed or multi-location engineering teams

In addition to leading core data capabilities, this role will act as a **Site Lead** , responsible for building and developing a high-performing local technology team while partnering closely with enterprise technology and business leadership. This leader will define and execute the **data strategy for engineering, governance, and data quality** , ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant data platforms that support analytics, regulatory reporting, and business operations in a highly regulated banking environment.
