What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum ten (10) years’ work experience, Business or Technical Bachelor’s degree, High level of detailed knowledge of Engineering, Program Management & Quality System and associated OEM standards, Demonstrated problem solving i. e. , 5 Why Analysis, 8 Discipline Approach, Shainin, Six Sigma etc., Solid understanding of assembly and machining processes, Proficient in data collection, analysis and presentation
Nice to Have
Significant regional and global Leadership experience in either Program Management or Quality Role
What You'll Do.
Establish and implement a corporate quality assurance system
Lead the NA Corporate Quality Team
Ensure compliance to related systems
Work with internal Customers to ensure continuous improvement
Promote a culture of Teamwork
Quality Improvement and
Partner with the Regional PE
Act as a change agent
Challenge the Status Quo
Innovate to drive the Enterprise Approach of Building
Drive Zero defect in everything we do
Develop and execute robust 5 Year Plan
Lead to External Quality results that dominate the
Achieve internal Cost that is meeting Benchmark
Execute global common standard work
Accomplish stretch KPI Improvement Goals
Lead all Regional Group related AQE/ Supplier Escalations
Ensure disciplined APQP execution
Launch On Time with Quality
Assure a lessons learned and read across system
Cycle through the lifetime of the program from
Assure a warranty reduction plan
Assure quick response and closure of issues
Support troubled and escalated suppliers
Assure systems and controls are in place and
Lead the regional AQE
SQD and Warranty teams
Support the NA manufacturing sites
Follow Magna’s Code of Conduct and Ethics
Follow related compliance policies
Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
