What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field, 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate development, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting or similar skill set
Nice to Have
Financial analysis skills, Financial modeling skills, Transaction execution skills, Robust valuation expertise, Acquisition and equity investment contract review experience, Negotiation experience, Due diligence experience, Ability to collaborate across multiple groups
What You'll Do.
Report to the Vice President
Corporate Development
Develop in-depth knowledge of Copeland’s strategy
Partner closely with business leadership teams to canvass
Summarize new market opportunities
Prioritize strategic growth opportunities
Maintain the acquisition pipeline
Identify priority targets for partnership
Develop and manage relationships with potential acquisition targets
Own valuation financial model
Ensure a consistent approach to building
Work closely with Finance and IR to ensure
Provide appropriate public company transaction metrics
Play critical role in valuation
Lead large cross-functional teams through transaction process
Manage the M&A approval process
Assist in preparing committee and board level materials
Support the training and development of junior corporate
Contribute to continuous process improvements
