What They're Looking For.
Must Have
9+ years of experience in senior operational leadership roles, track record of managing up and across, Experience owning or overseeing internal platforms, tools, or systems, Comfort with low-code and AI-assisted tooling, ability to operate at two altitudes simultaneously, judgement about when to systematise and when to stay lean, Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to Have
Experience in education, training, or learning organisations, background in management consulting, BizOps, or operational strategy, Previous experience as a “Head of Internal Product, ” “Director of Product Ops, ” or similar hybrid operator-product role, Familiarity with regulated workforce development markets, Experience managing external contractors
What You'll Do.
Define and own the 12-month Sidekick roadmap
Set the strategic direction for Sidekick’s evolution
Build and present the business case for team growth
Work two quarters ahead on roadmap planning
Serve as the primary interface between Sidekick and organisation
Navigate the collaborative boundary between Sidekick and core platform
Translate operational needs into clear requirements
Represent coaching operations perspective
Lead the existing team with clear accountability
Instil operational disciplines in the team
Create conditions for team self-sufficiency
Build evidence-based cases for team expansion
Own the full build-launch-adoption cycle
Partner with Data & Insights to solve data fragmentation
Drive adoption as a first-class metric
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
aligning stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Data; Serve as the primary interface between Sidekick and the rest of the organisation; Translate operational needs into clear requirements and priorities that central teams can act on; Represent the coaching operations perspective in cross-functional planning

Excellent written and verbal communication; construct a clear business case; present to senior leadership; influence without authority
