Must Have
Bachelor's degree or above in technical or engineering related field, 15+ years of technical design/implementation/consulting experience, 10+ years of leadership experience in technical, customer-facing role, 7+ years of experience managing and leading technology organizations, 7+ years of hands-on experience with Big Data technologies
Nice to Have

If you have deep expertise across relational and non-relational databases, data warehousing and lakehouse architectures, real-time event processing, and cloud storage — and a passion for solving complex, large-scale data challenges alongside customers — this is the role for you. As Director of the worldwide Database, Analytics & Storage Solutions Architecture team at AWS, you will lead a global organization of specialist solutions architects who drive technical customer engagement, solution design, and adoption across AWS's data portfolio. Your team will serve as the technical counterpart to the Database, Analytics & Storage go-to-market organization — partnering directly with service team engineering leaders, field sales, and customer executives to accelerate data-driven transformation. This is a role for a leader who combines deep technical expertise with strategic business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to inspire a large, distributed team. You will set the vision for how AWS helps customers migrate, modernize, and unlock the value of their data at scale.
