Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Develop and lead the end-to-end Accounts Payable strategy, ensuring alignment with broader finance and business objectives. Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing AP team, fostering accountability, accuracy, and operational excellence. Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and end-to-end AP operations with a focus on timeliness and control. Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and scale AP operations effectively. Implement and enhance AP systems, ERP tools, and automation solutions to improve accuracy and workflow performance. Establish and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring SOX compliance and adherence to accounting and audit standards. Build strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely payments, dispute resolution, and effective stakeholder management. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Internal Audit teams to improve process alignment and resolve audit findings. Deliver accurate reporting and insights on AP performance, cash flow impact, and operational KPIs to senior stakeholders. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or related accounting roles, including 2–4+ years in leadership positions. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong experience managing large-scale AP operations in complex, high-volume environments. Hands-on expertise with ERP systems and accounting platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Solid understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements. Proven ability to design and implement process improvements and automation initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex AP issues.
