What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required, Minimum 10 - 12 years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience, Minimum 4 - 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large accounting functions and teams, expertise in U. S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and internal controls, Extensive experience managing public company audits and working directly with external auditors

Nice to Have

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA strongly preferred, Proven success leading accounting operations within a publicly traded, healthcare, technology, or high-growth organization preferred, Workday Financials experience strongly preferred

What You'll Do.

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all accounting operations

Lead the preparation and review of monthly

and annual financial statements

Oversee all external and internal audit activities

Serve as a key leader in SEC filings

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting systems

and automation processes

Lead enterprise-wide SOX compliance initiatives

risk management activities

and internal control optimization efforts

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures

Provide executive-level guidance on complex accounting matters

Support M&A activities

due diligence efforts

and other strategic corporate initiatives

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Partner closely with Executive Leadership, FP&A, Legal, HR, Operations, and Technology teams to drive financial strategy and operational excellence; Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and influence cross-functional executive stakeholders

Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Process & Methodology

M&A activities, integration, due diligence efforts, strategic corporate initiatives
