What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or G. E. D required, One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage, Provide CPR after certification, Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
Associate Degree in a health related field preferred, Two years’ experience in a health related field preferred, CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification a plus
What You'll Do.
Manage residential homes/facilities
Supervise and coordinate activities of Direct Support Employees
Work assigned time in residential home/facility
Resolve employee issues
Conduct performance reviews
Ensure employees meet training requirements
Attend required events
Provide after-hours coverage
Provide on-call coverage
Monitor employee interactions
Provide feedback to employees
Ensure people supported have clean home
Ensure people supported have maintained yard
Help implement services and supports
Assist people supported achieve personal goals
Assist people supported achieve desired outcomes
Carry out responsibilities of Direct Support Professional
Supervise two or more employees
Carry out supervisory responsibilities
Make recommendations for hiring
