The Direct Form Operator is responsible for operating precision manufacturing equipment to produce high-performance components used in critical applications such as aerospace and transportation. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline while working in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities * Operate press lines, sintering ovens, and tumbling equipment to meet production and quality requirements while maintaining local and corporate safety standards. * Perform in-process inspections and accurately record part dimensions per quality plans and customer specifications * Identify and troubleshoot nonconforming parts and support root cause resolution * Maintain process control through adherence to standard work and inspection requirements * Remove scrap material and maintain a clean and safe work environment * Accurately report production counts, labor, and required documentation * Perform basic equipment care and minor maintenance as needed Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required * Basic math skills including measurement to thousandths and decimals * Ability to read and comprehend graphs, charts & tables * Mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools * Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, data entry) * Ability to follow written instructions and procedures Preferred Qualifications
