Full Job Description

This is an open and continuous posting for Full-Time and Part-Time positions on multiple shifts servicing the Behavioral Stabilization Units in Baldwinville, MA for DDS.   The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) seeks caring and compassionate applicants for the role of  DIRECT CARE WORKER II (DCW II),  within the Stabilization Program, who are committed to building meaningful relationships and provide outstanding care and service. The Emergency Stabilization Program is a constantly changing environment serving individuals in crisis with a wide variety of complex support needs,  many with violent and extreme behaviors.  The Direct Care Worker II position provides oversight and direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities. This is to be accomplished by the provision of an environment consistent with participants' needs in daily living and those skills necessary for community life.
