Culinary Degree, Four or more years of food service experience in a restaurant, commercial, or institutional facility, Three or more years of supervisory experience in food service or similar capacity, Experience training, coaching, and evaluating staff in a high volume/fast-paced food service environment, Experience using Microsoft Office and computer systems, Professional demeanor and ability to work with a large customer base

Under the guidance of the Assistant Manager or General Manager, this position ensures smooth front-of-house operations, maintains high standards of safety and cleanliness, and helps deliver a positive dining experience. The Dining Supervisor provides leadership for service staff, models excellent customer service, and helps uphold University Housing and Dining (UHD) 5-Star standards. ## Responsibilities * Oversee day-to-day dining room and service floor operations to ensure timely, clean, and high-quality service. Serve as the shift lead during assigned service periods—monitoring food flow, managing line setup, and resolving service-related issues in real time. Help conduct weekly inventory counts and monitor stock levels to ensure essential items are available for service. Ensure all staff follow local, state, and UHD safety and sanitation policies. Reinforce best practices in food handling and cleanliness. * Supervise full-time, part-time, and student staff working during assigned shifts
