What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5+ years of experience in the design, build, and deployment of digital modem systems, Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience in digital modem design, Transmit and receive pulse shaping digital filter design, Symbol rate throughput, latency, and spectral occupancy analysis and optimization, Carrier/symbol clock offset tracking and recovery, Adaptive equalization using blind, training-based, and decision-directed algorithms, Channel modeling and simulation, Fixed point design, simulation and analysis, Python, C/C++ and/or Matlab for algorithm development, modeling (floating-point and fixed-point) and link-level simulation, MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

Logic design for wireless modem FPGAs, ASICs or custom data-path components for DSP applications (sequential and arithmetic components), Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) and microwave components: oscillators, mixers, attenuators, amplifiers, couplers, isolators, Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) layout

In this role, you will you will lead the design and development of custom, low-latency modem architectures for our point-to-point wireless networks around the globe.
