Must Have

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, 3+ years of experience working with internal or external stakeholders (e. g. business partners, airline customers, finance, external suppliers, etc. ), at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership., Ability to travel 10% of the time

Nice to Have

Master’s degree or higher in Engineering or MBA, 5+ years of experience working on commercial airplane programs or providing technical support to airplane owners/operators or relevant industry experience, 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams, Experience in one of more of the following areas: change management, change classification, certification, engineering release, technical/product integration, Experience on a Program Engineering Operations team, Experience applying architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, UAF, or SysML to enterprise-scale process and data design across the PLM/ERP/MES boundary., Experience managing cross-functional teams in the adoption and integration of engineering software platforms or simulation tools., Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values and Behaviors., Demonstrated ability in team building, coaching, and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement., Proven ability to manage and empower teams in ambiguous environments.
