As a foundation-owned company, ZEISS invests 15% of revenue in R&D, continuously pushing the boundaries of science and innovation. **Your Role** We're looking for a **Digital Applications Trainee** to join the Quality Team XRX in Lisbon, someone who brings curiosity, initiative, and a genuine drive to figure things out. This isn't a role where you wait for instructions. You'll actively support the development of digital tools and applications, contribute ideas, and take ownership of your work. The position offers hands-on exposure to **3D visualization, data analytics, low-code automation, global collaboration, software applications, and automation tools.** Additional initiatives and new tools will be developed over time, and the trainee will have the opportunity to contribute to new concepts and pilot solutions as the digital roadmap evolves. **Day-to-day, you 'll be involved in:** * Supporting the development and continuous improvement of digital applications * Data analytics and complaint analytics support * Identifying problems, testing solutions, and iterating independently * Bringing creative thinking to technical and process challenges * Documenting your work clearly and contributing to a growing digital toolkit * Jumping into new projects with enthusiasm when the opportunity arises **What We 're Looking For** We're looking for the **right mindset,** someone who is autonomous, analytical, and energized by problem-solving. **Background:** * Bachelor or Master student in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field * Hybrid profiles combining **business thinking with technical skills** are especially valued * Academic or project-based experience in programming, analytics, or digital tools * Experience with un
