Full Job Description

**Job Details:** **RVI Scranton Digest Production Operator – M-F Days** **Starting Pay: $24.15/hr** Description: This position is responsible for the digest production operation and will unload and wash all reefers, weigh dry ingredients and raw product and mix according to customer specs while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks: These positions require standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 60 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 30 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure. Will be required to obtain the certification and operate a forklift or skid-steer loader. Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions. Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations. Must have the ability to document information. Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Requirements: Applicants must be 18 years of age. Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered. Minimum 6 month waiting period from previous Tyson employment. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment.
