Full Job Description

That’s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care. Position Overview Works closely with clients, their families, and staff (registered dietitians, therapists, culinary services, and frontline team members). Acts as liaison for the registered dietitian and culinary services to support the execution of registered dietitian prescribed diet orders/meal plans. Utilizes knowledge of nutrition principals to provide basic nutrition education to clients and culinary services. Assists the registered dietitian and basic culinary support as needed. Schedule Full Time, 0.8 FTE (32hrs/wk), working Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 2:00pm Compensation: Dietetic Technician: $21.00 - 24.00 Hourly Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position Duties and Responsibilities: Communicates all diet orders, allergies/food intolerances and dietary accommodations to the culinary team. Collaborates with registered dietitian(s) and culinary services to ensure all diet orders/dietary restrictions/dietary needs prescribed by the registered dietitian are accurately accommodated. Assists culinary team with managing dietary accommodations. Partners with the culinary team in executing production of individualized client trays per the tray ticket system. Provides active meal coaching and support for clients in Therapeutic Supported Meals as assigned. Plans, prepares, facilitates assigned nutrition groups and completes documentation of groups provided in the EHR. Assists the dietitian in completing a variety of clinical tasks such as daily weigh
