We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento **Position Overview:** Follows clearly defined nutritional procedures to provide support to Clinical Dieticians, physicians and other health care providers with implementation and monitoring of medical nutrition therapy (MNT), including nutrition education, assessment and treatment. Collects patient data and information to understand patients' needs and create menus that support their plan of care. Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to guide individuals, families, or caregivers in food selection, preparation, or menu planning, based upon nutritional needs and established guidelines. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication.
