Committed to completing this two-year program, Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights/weekends or holidays, Willingness to uphold the values and expectations at Republic Services, including safety, ethics, and respect, Must be willing to travel to & live in Dallas, Texas for 9 weeks of in-person training

Logical problem solver with an interest in engineering and technology
What You'll Do.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks
Complete nine weeks of company-paid training
Complete twenty-two months of on-the-job training
Work towards Apprentice certification as a Diesel Mechanic
Perform basic tire work
Perform wheel end component work
Perform mechanic skills
Apply knowledge of hydraulics
Apply knowledge of electrical systems
