What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid Driver’s License, 5 -7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks, Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in some (not all required) of the following heavy truck, or automotive systems: Suspensions & Steering, General Engine, Transmissions, Brakes, Electrical, Hydraulics, Drive Train, Diesel Emissions
Nice to Have
ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8), LNG and/or CNG experience, Class or higher Commercial Driver’s License, Preferred CDL
What You'll Do.
Perform repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment
Repair and maintain chassis refuse bodies
Repair and maintain control
and electrical air brake systems
Repair and maintain general engine systems
Repair and maintain HVAC systems
Repair and maintain suspension systems
Repair and maintain drive train systems
Repair and maintain steering systems
Maintain advanced knowledge of vehicle components
Perform complex repair maintenance functions
Perform chassis component repair and maintenance
Perform refuse bodies repair and maintenance
Perform air and hydraulic braking systems repair and maintenance
Perform engine repair and diagnostics
Perform diesel fuel systems diagnostics
drivetrain and steering systems repair
Perform heating and air conditioning systems diagnostics and repair
Perform aftertreatment systems
REGEN and diagnostics
Diagnose electrical concerns with scan tools
Perform line maintenance
Perform welding and fabrication
Identify the source of malfunctions using electronic tools
Complete applicable Company training programs
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Team & Collaboration
Direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager
