Must furnish own tools, Work inside an open floor plan shop, Daily exposure to dirt, oils, smells, and sounds, Able to lift, handle, meet ladder safety requirements, Able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, Able to work at heights of 0-20 ft., Able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, lay, climb, and lift throughout each day, Required to stand, walk, and sit frequently, Required to reach with hands and climb or stoop, kneel or crouch to access vehicle areas
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4 years of diesel or heavy equipment maintenance and repair experience, Valid driver’s license, CDL -B
Nice to Have
Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system, and the mechanisms of a diesel engine, Hi rail knowledge, Hydraulic knowledge, CDL-A
What You'll Do.
Consult customer and read work orders
Interpret diagnostic results
Inspect vehicle systems
Repair or replace vehicle parts
Test drive repaired vehicles
Complete coolant service
Complete AC evaluation
Complete brake checks
Maintain records of parts inventory
Maintain records of serviced vehicles
Ensure job area is organized and clean
