Must Have
Proven experience repairing heavy trucks, Welding experience required, Must supply own tools, Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call shifts, Must be able to travel locally, Must pass a background check, Must pass a DOT drug test
Nice to Have
Preferred snowplow experience, Technical educational training in Mechanics, Prior experience with snowplows and snow removal equipment, Class CDL preferred
What You'll Do.
Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered trucks
Diagnose and repair snow removal equipment
Perform preventive maintenance
Repair hydraulic systems
Repair electrical systems
Repair salt spreaders
Conduct emergency field service repairs
Assist with fabrication
Assist with modifications to equipment
Maintain accurate records of work performed
Maintain records of parts used
Ensure compliance with federal safety requirements
Ensure compliance with state safety requirements
Keep shop areas clean
Support snow operations
