**Title:** DG BOSS: Tree Service Technician (FN) The Tree Service Technician is responsible for the care, maintenance, and safe removal of trees across assigned properties. This role involves pruning, trimming, and removal of trees to ensure safety, promote healthy growth, and maintain the overall appearance of landscapes. The position requires skilled use of specialized equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to respond to routine and emergency tree service needs. **Roles and Responsibilities** * Prune and trim trees to encourage healthy growth, remove dead or diseased branches, and improve aesthetics. * Safely remove trees when necessary, including felling, stump removal, and site cleanup. * Provide emergency tree services, such as clearing storm-damaged or fallen trees to ensure safety and accessibility. * Operate chainsaws and related equipment to fell, de-limb, buck, and trim trees as required. * Assess site conditions, including terrain and weather, to ensure safe and effective tree operations. * Maintain tools and equipment by performing regular cleaning, oiling, sharpening, and minor repairs. * Clear work areas of brush, saplings, and obstacles to create safe operating zones and escape routes. * Follow all safety standards and best practices during tree service operations. **Basic Qualifications** * Knowledge of tree pruning, removal techniques, and safe equipment operation. * Ability to operate various types of power equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment. * Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping. * Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments. * Ability to understand lawn maintenance techniques, equipment operation, and road surface repair. * Ability to work at varying heights safely. * Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks in outdoor conditions. * Must speak, read, and understand the English Language. * Must pass overseas med
