Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health, Must have a valid country of origin Professional Driver’s License with the following license codes (B, B1, B2, C, D, BE, and CE) and be able to operate the assigned vehicles, wearing required personal protective equipment

Must Have
Ability to operate heavy equipment, Considerable knowledge and skill in the operation and servicing of various automotive and complex construction equipment, Considerable knowledge of the hazards involved in equipment operation and the safety precautions necessary, Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, and checking oil and water levels, Must speak, read, and understand the English Language, Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health, Must have a valid country of origin Professional Driver’s License with the following license codes (B, B1, B2, C, D, BE, and CE) and be able to operate the assigned vehicles

Fully qualified and capable of being certified IAW NAVFAC P-300, Heavy Equipment Operation (Backhoe Loader), Heavy Equipment Operation (Bulldozer), Heavy Equipment Operation (Transit Mixer Truck), Heavy Equipment Operation (Forklift), Heavy Equipment Operation (Motor Grader), Heavy Equipment Operation (Wheel Loader), Heavy Equipment Operation (On-Highway Dump Truck - Rigid), Heavy Equipment Operation (Hydraulic Excavator), Heavy Equipment Operation (Road Roller)
What You'll Do.
Operates and maintains a variety of heavy vehicles and other equipment
Loads and unloads supplies and equipment from ships
Operates all types of Construction/Heavy Equipment for Base Support
Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles
Performs pre-service maintenance checks
Records malfunctions of other items requiring attention
Records the number of gallons of fuel issued to the equipment
Maintains tools and equipment
Performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities
Observes and follow all safety rules and procedures
Performs other duties and activities as directed
