The University of Miami, in Miami, Florida is seeking a DevSecOps Software Engineer for the Department of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC). Duties and responsibilities include designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications. Duties will also include supporting and installing software applications and operating systems, developing and executing software testing protocols, and maintaining secure, compliant, and scalable data infrastructure to support regulated biomedical data management and analytics platforms. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field and 2 years of relevant experience, which must include implementing secure and efficient development processes (SecDevOps), establishing a shared repository for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, automating secure application deployment workflows, and ensuring comprehensive testing across all stages of application development. Experience must also include maintaining HIPAA- and HITECH-compliant systems, implementing role-based access controls, and managing audit trails for secure data access.
