Must Have

Proven experience leading technical teams in DevOps, SRE, or Developer Experience, track record improving developer productivity at scale, Experience operating in cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS), Deep understanding of software delivery practices, including CI/CD (Azure DevOps and Github), infrastructure-as-code, and container platforms, Repository configuration and management (Nexus), knowledge across: CI/CD and deployment patterns, Kubernetes and containerised workloads, Infrastructure-as-code (e. g. Terraform), Source control and build systems, Solid scripting or programming skills (PowerShell), Understanding of security fundamentals in the software delivery lifecycle (e. g. identity, access, supply chain security)

Nice to Have

Experience with internal developer platforms or portals, Knowledge of observability and monitoring practices, Understanding of networking and infrastructure fundamentals

Full Job Description

This role leads the Developer Experience (DevEx) central hub, responsible for improving how engineers build, test, and ship software across the organisation. The focus is simple: remove friction, increase productivity, and ensure the developer platform is secure, reliable, and scalable. You’ll own the strategy and evolution of core engineering capabilities across CI/CD, deployment and developer platforms. Acting as both team lead and product owner, you’ll align platform direction with developer needs and business priorities. This is a hands-on leadership role.
