DevOpsTeamLead

This role leads the Developer Experience (DevEx) central hub, responsible for improving how engineers build, test, and ship software across the organisation. The focus is simple: remove friction, increase productivity, and ensure the developer platform is secure, reliable, and scalable. You’ll own the strategy and evolution of core engineering capabilities across CI/CD, deployment and developer platforms. Acting as both team lead and product owner, you’ll align platform direction with developer needs and business priorities. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll guide the team, shape technical direction, and step in on complex challenges where needed. ## **What You’ll Do** ### **Leadership & Strategy** * Lead and develop the DevEx central team, setting direction, priorities, and standards * Define and deliver the roadmap for developer platform capabilities (CI/CD, deployment, developer portals) * Champion developer productivity across engineering, continuously identifying and removing friction * Partner with Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and resilient ### **Platform Ownership** **Own and evolve the internal developer platform across:** * Continuous integration and delivery * Deployment and release management * Artefact management and supply chain security * Developer self-service and internal platforms * Ensure platforms are reliable, scalable, and aligned to modern engineering practices * Drive standardisation and best practices across the software delivery lifecycle ### **Architecture & Enablement** * Provide architectural guidance on build, deployment, and delivery patterns * Support teams in designing efficient, secure, and scalable pipelines * Act as an escalation point for complex platform or developer workflow issues * Improve developer self-service through automation and reusable patterns # **What You Bring** ### **Experience** * Proven experience leading technical teams in DevOps, SRE, or Developer
