What They're Looking For.
Must Have
DevOps, SRE, or production infrastructure engineering experience, Operating distributed systems at scale, High availability and resilience design, Observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response, Building CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release systems, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, similar tools), Performance, scaling, and system reliability principles, Ability to work closely with engineering teams to influence system design, Defining production readiness for trust infrastructure systems, Building and enforcing observability standards, Establishing operational guardrails, Designing and implementing deployment pipelines, Building Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Validating real-world behavior, Designing and executing load, stress, and failure testing, Implementing and testing multi-region, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies, Continuously validating capacity, scaling limits, and degradation patterns, Collaborating across engineering and ecosystem boundaries, Working closely with backend and architecture teams, Collaborating with ecosystem partners and upstream components, Ensuring external dependencies and upstream components meet real-world operational constraints
