Must Have

scripting skills (Python strongly Bash/shell required), Ability to produce clean, testable and maintainable automation code, Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, including branching strategies, artifact management, secrets handling, and deployment promotion, Unix/Linux skills: process, filesystem, permissions, services, troubleshooting, and performance basics, Good networking fundamentals: DNS, TCP/IP, ports, routing basics, TLS ability to debug connectivity issues with standard tools, Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative engineering practices (code review, documentation, automation-first mindset), Comfort working in incident-driven environments: clear communication, structured troubleshooting, and post-incident improvements, Monitoring/logging experience (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk/ELK) and building operational dashboards, Awareness of kdb+ / KDB database technology and/or experience with other NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch): fundamentals, common operational patterns, and deployment considerations

## _**Job Description:**_ Our Quantitative Fixed Income (QFI) Engineering team, part of the Group Strategy Analytics (GSA) group, builds applications that deliver quantitatively driven pricing and trading solutions for the Rates & Credit business. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable build and deployment automation for high-performance trading systems. In this role, you will own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and platform level, data driven automation workflows, develop high-quality automation solutions, and work closely with engineering, quant research, and production support teams to deliver repeatable, secure systems with strong observability across environments. **Key responsibilities** * In close partnership with Quant Research, design, build, and operate research environments that support data refinement, transformation, and aggregated results collection (using technologies such as Python, Q/KDB, VictoriaMetrics). Plan, build, and support an infrastructure orchestration layer to run and monitor research experiments and automate the generation of calibration parameters for trading strategies. * Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity), including quality gates, approvals, artifact management, and rollback strategies. Own build and deployment automation across environments (dev/test/stage/prod), ensuring releases are repeatable, secure, and reliable. * Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and deployment failures end-to-end (source control, build, artifacts, runtime, connectivity, permissions) and drive root-cause fixes. * Improve observability and operational readiness for the build/deploy process (logging, metrics, alerts, runbooks) and continuously refine automation standards. **Required skills and experience** * Strong scripting skills (Python strongly preferred; Bash/shell required).
