## Description Position Overview We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to partner with our development teams and accelerate the deployment, testing, and release of applications. This role involves automating and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across various environments. ShyftLabs is a growing data product company founded in early 2020 and works primarily with Fortune 500 companies. We deliver digital solutions built to help accelerate the growth of businesses in various industries, by focusing on creating value through innovation ## What you'll be doing Responsible for the development, optimization and delivery of cloud computing solutions, hosted services and underlying software infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA and development environments through the development lifecycle Supports and troubleshoots scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments Evaluates new tools, technologies and processes to improve speed, efficiency and scalability. Monitor server and application performance using one or more of Application Performance Monitoring tools: NewRelic, CloudWatch and Sumologic Partners with application developers on the seamless deployment of software Responsible for optimizing and enhancing infrastructure performance Manage the installation and configuration of solutions Oversee routine maintenance procedures and diagnostic testing. Document processes and monitoring performance metrics. Implement best practices in network administration and cybersecurity. ## Basic Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related IT field Experience in Information Security and Networking Background in Linux (RHEL) based infrastructure Comfortable with command line tools (Bash, Powershell) Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (such as GitLab CI/
