Must Have
Active TS/SCI security clearance, 5-7 years of experience, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field, Experience in data engineering or DevOps with a focus on large-scale enterprise-level data systems and Kubernetes, Proficient in cloud-based data technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes, Proficient in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Terraform, CDK, Kubernetes, etc, Demonstrated expertise in designing and building Kubernetes infrastructure to support application migration, understanding of data protection and security best practices in Kubernetes environments, Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

What You'll Do.

Collaborate with development teams to assess application architecture and identify necessary modifications for smooth migration to Kubernetes
Develop and implement strategies for migrating applications to Kubernetes

The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the migration of traditionally deployed applications to a Kubernetes infrastructure. This role can support a hybrid work schedule, with duties being performed onsite in the Chantilly, VA area.
