Experience working with adults with a mental health diagnosis and/or developmental disabilities
What You'll Do.
Develop positive relationship with individuals
Assist individuals in achieving dreams
Assess person's hopes and dreams
Provide supports that facilitate achievement
Ensure rights are protected
Assist in developing advocacy skills
Serve as resource for person served
Supervise people receiving services
Educate people receiving services
Monitor people receiving services
Maintain safe working environment
Educate people receiving services on rules
Facilitate positive relationships
Provide input into assessment
Implement person's plan
Complete daily progress notes
Complete communication log
Assist in maintaining records
Substitute in-house or community
Sleepover at residential setting
Attend and participate in meetings
Participate in training
Maintain certification
Comply with agency policies
Comply with state statutes
Comply with federal statutes
Follow service definition guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned

Assist new staff and/or current staff with orientation, mentoring, and training; Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required
