Experience working with children or adults (dependent on population served) with a mental health diagnosis, an intellectual/developmental disability. , or substance use disorder | Not Required
What You'll Do.
Support people to achieve personal dreams
Sleepover at a residential setting
Assess person's hopes
Provide supports that facilitate achievement
Support people in developing relationships
Assist people in participating in community
Ensure rights of each person protected
Assist people in developing advocacy skills
Provide support to meet needs
Facilitate person-centered relationships
Provide input into assessment and planning
Implement person's plan fully
Accurately complete all required documentation
Complete daily progress notes
Attend and participate in meetings
Maintain certification in all training
Demonstrate knowledge of agency policies
Assist people with day-to-day home operation
Assist people during late night hours
Drive and travel as required
Arrange for transportation
Assist people with knowledge of emergency procedures
Utilize effective judgment when dealing with safety
Assist new staff with orientation
Follow service definition guidelines
Complete all other relevant responsibilities
