**Job Description** The Burke Museum has an outstanding opportunity for a Development Events Manager to join their team. **About this Opportunity:** Reporting to the Director of Development, the Events Manager is responsible for professional and strategic management of in-person events designed to deepen engagement with the museum, including all aspects of "day of" event production, overseeing event production schedules and being the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** **Event Production and Management (85%)** * Provide professional and strategic management of in-person events designed to deepen engagement with the museum. * Develop and manage event logistics including budgets, timelines, guest list review and registration, venue coordination, staff volunteer management, transportation and security coordination. * Research, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts including caterers, rental companies, florists, venues, printers, mail houses, and photographers. * Manage all aspects of day of event onsite production including setup and breakdown, * Post-event, evaluate guest attendance and engagement levels, fundraising outcomes, event effectiveness and improvement opportunities. * Manage guest services, including guests lists, intake of RSVPs **Other Duties as Assigned (15%)** * Soliciting and submit proposals for cash and in-kind sponsorships. * Auction duties, university policy compliance **Required Qualifications** To be considered for this opportunity your application must demonstrate you meet both the minimum qualifications and additional qualifications listed below.
